Gauss Fusion receives €9m funding from BMBF

Gauss Fusion is to receive €9m in funding from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The funding will enable Gauss Fusion to advance their first objective, the development of demountable superconducting magnetic coils. The modularity of these coils should significantly simplify the construction, repair, and maintenance of components in a reactor’s lining, or ‘first wall’.
